My neighbor has one of these. They are Hispanic and holy shit, they can cook. They've brought us over some amazing food.

Id like to get one of these griddles at some point. I’m pretty happy with my Kamado but could see the benefits and cons of both. Kamado does most things I need for now.

I gently boil my sausages to cook them and then caramelize them on the grill. They retain a lot more moisture that way. It doesn't burn off as much.

Hey, I have one of those. I can... griddle!

If I had more room, I'd think about getting one of the Blackstones. It looks useful. Amy would kill me if I tried to squeeze another grill into my lanai.

So .....RIP my fuckin grill after today.

RECIPE FOR BEST BURGERS YOU EVER HAD BELOW.

I made “smash burgers”. Wtf is that right? Grill on lowTake 2lbs of 80/20 ground, 2eggs and mix in a packet of Lipton onion soup mix. I only used one, some people like two. I feel like two would be too much for sure.

Any way, mix it all up. Mash them into 4oz balls (man hands, cup to cup). Throw them on the grill. Let them sit 1:30 to 2 mins. Then smash it almost flat for 15 seconds. THE MAGIC IS NOW HAPPENING. Wait about another min or so, flip after smash and now season and throw your cheese on. Let it get to 160 internal and I dare you to call me a liar!!!

I took a pic, literally first bite and over 6oz of juice/flavor dripped onto the cooking pan-pic below.

5 Guys burgers. It's why theirs taste so good.

I like smash burgers. Make them sometimes. I also like a plump juicy burger at rare/medium rare seared on high heat where the juice drips on your shirt if you don't lean forward.
