"17212 is the 4.9D. it was made for diesels, mostly for higher egts.
I use this sensor for higher HP cars that see a lot of heat.
Seems to work well and not die as fast as the "normal" 4.9 - Kenny Boi

I know the Terminators are real finicky with anything but Bosch, or so I have heard. When I was swapping mine out last year with the LSA install, I was looking for an alternative as well and thats what I was told and what I read on the Holley forum
I'd imagine the Dominator is similar.

The Dominator and HP need Holley branded O2 sensors.

I know there is someone out there who is selling modified Bosch and NTK sensors that will work with the Dominator and HP. If I can remember who the vendor is, I'll post it in here.

Dominators use a calibrated resistance 02 sensor that cannot be bought off the shelf at a parts store. MAAD Racing does make some alternatives that can be used.
