Just started The Worlds Worst Assistant today. Short book but I think I'm gonna like it Plus I only read 2-3 chapters at a time while I'm eating lunch at work, so I should be able to make it last a bit

My wife tricked me into reading a Colleen Hoover book. Its called Varity. It was decent. Thriller from a woman's prospective. I read it in one day cover to cover. I wont read another one of hers. They are all chick books. But that one was not bad. Lots of mystery and fucking.

You arent kidding. All them popular woman books right now are basically porn hub movies on pages. I was reading that book she gave me and I had to skip a few pages - I was like oh thats nasty...lol

Every time my wife’s audiobook comes over Bluetooth it’s always some type of shit with the woman being raped or tied up. “Oh you only hear the naughty parts..” yeah ok!

So me and one of other husbands from the wives book club had a good laugh about it as we both always hear the same shit. So his wife got my wife a little Christmas gift…

man last time I read a book took me like months to finish it, I get in bed to read but I get sleepy as an old fart and I fall to sleep, also when I think I'm sharp to read I am reading with in mind to read fast before I fall to sleep and I'm not even catching what I'm reading LMAO. so to solve this I now do Audibles LOL.
I finished reading the unplugged Alpha from Richard Copper, good book I wished I had read when I was a teen entering adulthood. I just started, Hope A memoir of survival in Cleveland.

I was just talking about this the other day. Its a pretty good book, and a quick read. There was a second one that tries to explain more, but meh. Stick with that one and done.

I am reading Fire and Blood which is what House of the Dragon is based on. It is a tough read for me because its basically just the history of Westros and the Targaryians. I care, but only a little. Plus I know all of these people just die anyway since its 300 years before Game of Thrones time. I just want George R.R. Martin to finish the damn A Song of Ice and Fire series already!

The Shadow and Bone series has my eye. I watched the first season on netflix, didnt realize it was a book series. Arent they all nowadays? I might grab a few of those to see what's next. The series was good on Netflix.

Finished up the worlds worst assistant today. I enjoyed that book

Already have my next one lined up too I'll start tomorrow. Gonna start Star Wars Dark Disciple. After the release of the new bad batch S3 trailer, this book is being thrown around a lot so I fee like it may have some relevance.

Nice bump. I finished the latest Mitch Rapp book, with Kyle Mills as the author (RIP Vince Flynn). It was okay.

Finished Dark Disciple last week finally just before bad batch, fantastic book. I really wish they would have made that into a clone wars arc.

Been looking for a new book to start since then, so I just picked up Shogun today since the show just started and I want to know MORE. Only got thru the prologue on my lunch today This ones gonna be around for a while.

I'm reading Hail Mary by Andy Weir, the same guy who wrote The Martian. Its very good so far, I am about a quarter of the way through.

I finished all of Frank Hebert's Dune's and my wife turned me onto this.



Probably one of the best writers and stories I've read in a long time. Magic and Dragons type of book. The second book to this is



Hoping there is a more to the series.

After these I started reading the "pre-quells" to Dune written by Hebert's son and Kevin J Anderson

So... Michael Connelly books.... Finished all of the Bosch novels, which are more and more focused on Renee Ballard. You can tell he's writing her as the female Bosch, and his replacement. Next one comes out towards the end of the year. So started on his Lincoln Lawyer series of books. Have the first two down, started the third. I like the bit of crossover sprinkled throughout the books, keeps his whole fictional universe combined. Kind of like how James Ellroy wrote mini-series, but referenced his other characters, even decades later.

I recently finished “Dirt don’t slow you down” by Magnus Walker. Great read, it’s written kinda the way he speaks and doesn’t have lengthy run on sentences like most books I’ve read in the past. If you wanna save $30, just watch his Ted talk cuz it’s basically the summary of his book lol.

FINALLY finished up Shogun today. Amazing book but god did it take me forever. Need something new now. Not sure what to go with. I almost wanna continue on w/ another one of Clavell's novels..........or maybe go back to a star wars something or other
