The only other consistent stereotype is fucking Jeep accessory wiring. Holy ratfucking fire hazard. How many of those are direct 12v runs with no fuse/relay inline? 
Rat nest wiring jobs aside, I see a lot of these kind of jeeps like domestic rice. It’s easy to criticize but at the end of the day these people are a form of automotive enthusiast which seems to be a dying breed. Would rather let them have their fun and be on our side as more regulations come vs losing allies that will be useful later.
One other observation; just about any of the jeeps posted here would be considered cool outside of North America.

Did someone say Jeep wiring? I asked the guy who did it so I could avoid. He said he did it himself all proud
Can only imagine all the “off roading” picture captions on Facebook and Instagram with the front wheel up on a curb!
What I find interesting is folks spend money to modify their vehicles to handle / drive worse than stock.

I said the same thing when guys would chrome plate their motorcycle wheels. It’s race bike, chrome don’t get you home. But I know, let’s increase the wheel’s weight 10 fold so it’s even harder to turn at speed.
