I commute 135 miles per day which will result in a relatively short break in period.

Daughter and I show up with the new mustang and the wife gives me a goofy look.

Later in the evening:

Wife - "are we going through a mid-life crisis or teenage years again?
Me - "cheaper than your new Honda Pilot or a Vette"
Wife - "you're going to make that 4 hr commute everyday with stick shift and v8?"
Me - "yep"
Wife - "so how is a family of 5 going to fit in it?"
Me - "we have the Pilot"
Wife - "what if I need to drive it, the Taurus had an automatic transmission?"
Me - "you should learn to drive stick"
Wife - "you should've bought a Challenger, old man"
Me - "this car will do just fine"

How congrats. I have had similar conversations with the wife when I bought the RS. But at least I had the rebuttal that it had four doors!
