I checked out a LOT of laptops over the past couple days to find one for Amy. Settled on this Acer Aspire 5. It's only $50 off regular price but the components make it more like a $600 laptop than a $450 laptop. Super expandable, too, although Amy will never upgrade any of it. LOL. The components are better than the usual crap you get in this price range and I like the Acer brand. It also comes preloaded with Windows 11 Home rather than the Windows 10S crap.

If anyone does photo or video editing, Adobe is having a 40% off sale which applies to both their CC (Creative Cloud) and Elements versions.

I might pick up the Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements bundle for $80 (normally $150). They're the "lite" versions, but should do enough for me. You can do a 30 day trial for either application, it just watermarks everything.

According to website I think the deal expires either tomorrow or Dec 3.

I don't know if it's a black Friday thing technically because the sale is still going on, but I was able to snag this guy from HD for 160 bucks after tax...(the top box thing with the clear lid was a "add-on" but the bottom three were $119)
