I can tell you what sucks. I Think We Are Alone Now. I watched it last week while I had some time off and thought Peter Dinklage could pull off anything, and man was I wrong. He wasnt bad, but couldnt save the movie.

The Road is actually a good one. Its pretty brutal and most likely what would happen to lots of people.

Most of the OG Mad Max movies are good/solid (although Thunderdome was good in a campy sort of way), but Fury Road is just fucking incredible.

A Quiet Place was really solid

People love Children of Men, I thought it was just OK.

Terminator: Salvation, not the best in the Terminator series, but I'd argue it at #2.

I Am Legend wasn't terrible, was pretty entertaining

28 Days Later was good, Cillian Murphy has creepy eyes

It Comes at Night was a little bit of a letdown IMO, but it was still solid

10 Cloverfield Lane. Fight me, I like the whole Cloverfield series, even the new one wasn't SUPER bad (although it was kinda bad  )

Here are a few that I wouldn't consider post-apocalyptic, but futuristic with stressed futures, that I enjoy

Fifth Element, one of my all time favorites
Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049
Dredd (so fucking good)
Take Shelter (Michael Shannon, Jessica Chastain, Shea Whigham, very tense and very good movie)

Comedic post-apoc

Idiocracy
Zombieland
Shaun of the Dead

Animated post-apoc

Wall-E - it's a kids movie, but it's stupendous
Akira - the benchmark for anime movies IMO
Evangelion - favorite anime series
