Belt size

Anybody have a belt part number for a 3.0 upper pulley and a 2lb lower? My belt tensioner is now Maxed out and my belt was riding on the edge of my pulley .

.....I'm such an idiot. That shiny spot on my pulley is from my hood liner. But my tensioner is maxed and my lower hub has a slight wobble. Not in and out, but almost like its not round. Not sure if that could have stretched the belt out, or if it was too loose from the start

You gotta get the lower pully square first. You may need to dremel the holes round so you can get it flat on the balancer. What belt length are you currently running? Gates has a pretty good cross refrence on their site, order the next size down and you should be OK. Are you running enough washers to get the tensioner center on the SC belt?

Tensioner is square. It's just my belt length I think

I used a 525 with a 3.1 upper and 2lb lower. Worked great.

The next size lower than a 525 will be way too short.

You can fine tune the belt tension with a larger pulley on the tensioner itself.

And the lower pulley wobble could be from a dirty surface on the balancer.
You may have to remove it, clean the balancer real good then re-install.

I always open up the holes a little on the hub and ring because its way too tight a fit 'out of the box'

Gotcha im putting on the right belt tonight ill see how it fits. I'll look at the lower pulley...probably take it off. The hub bolted up nice, and it sits flat, just rotates like its out of round. It's weird

Get the 525. Its perfect for your combo.
