The funny thing is, my version of chrome at home would probably be much more up to date than this at work because in order to update any software here, I have to go through an entire approval process and nothing can be downloaded and installed without authorization. So my point being, my version of chrome here at work is probably ancient.

I had a Chrome glitch around 2 days ago. My homepage icons changed size. I attributed it to Chrome updating without notification to me. Had to put several passwords back in and restore my settings so something definitely happened.

I ran malwarebytes and spybot just in case but they didn't find anything out of the ordinary so I assume it was a legit update?

Yup, it was an extension. Or so far it seems to be that I cured it. Somehow a McAfee security thingy was added to Chrome extensions. I just removed it and it seems to have worked.

Disregard. As soon as I hit submit on this, I was logged out again.
