I have been waiting to make a thread. I was hoping to have the rear bumper done and back on the car but I'm tired of waiting. I have posted some pictures in the ownership thread but since this is a bit specific and picture heavy, New Thread Alert. Plus, thanks to
Mook I have my own section so it should be easy to find. Hold please, saving multiple spots....
The driver seat and rear seat back had some upholstery work done and while the seats were out, I cleaned the carpets. Separate video can be found in this section.
The bumpers were removed to be repainted. Spider cracks, rock chips and misc BS I was tired of looking at. It turns out that the rear bumper is being replaced.
Here is why I decided to have them repainted:
The driver quarter panel and rear bumper had paint work prior to my ownership, as seen here on the bottom lip of the rear bumper:
Once the bumpers were loaded in the truck, the first day of cleaning started:
I did not get any after pictures of the top bumper brace but it was cleaned and coated with CarPro DLUX
The underside parking flap and misc plastics were cleaned and coated with CarPro DLUX, 50/50 here:
This is the lower section of the all too forgotten " SUPER SUCK RAM AIR"
Cleaned and coated and in the background the parking flap fully coated:
