I got a photo of a plane landing at O'hare, but it's from my iPhone SE 2020 and digital zoom. Point being it looked like a massive aircraft and have no idea what it was. Can't recall seeing anything that large from my house before.

Looks like a C17. I saw one out in South Dakota the other weekend. They are big but not the biggest aircraft you can see at ORD.

Good call. If I had noticed it sooner I'd have grabbed the DSLR with the 18-300 (27-450mm equivalent) lens to get a better set of photos. But by the time I could have gotten in the house the plane would be out of view.

I’ve heard about this a few times, but have never gone.

If I can get out of some of my responsibilities tomorrow I might come down for some photos. Gives me a reason to be in the area of Cycle Gear so I can get some new riding shoes for when the track bike is on the street.
