According the him, that C-130, just taxi'd and took off, heading back to Peoria. So he got good photos which I am sure he will share later.

Yes, the boy and i are leaving Thursday morning and coming back sunday.

We got this big place to stay a little north of Oshkosh, its almost like a while house and it wasn't much more expensive than a hotel room since I found it in January. So Saturday my friend (and his wife) from green bay will be coming and my wife and daughter will come up to just relax.

The boy filled up the SD card on my nikon, so we gotta download those to make space and I will probably get another big SD card for him. He will spend a lot of time during the shows up on one of those viewing towers. We bought him a couple of big zoom lenses this past year, so he's been learning them here at DuPage getting some great photos

That’s awesome- which lenses did you go with?

I’m looking forward to some pictures & pretty jealous.

I forget which one I got him, it was a 600 - 1,200mm non-nikon lense (so it was a manual adjust), because i refuse to pay nikon prices for the power/automatic ones. Then the M-I-L bought him an actual nikon powered 150 - 600mm something zoom.

I am sure we will have plenty to post. I take plenty on my phone too. I took a lot of video last year of the F/A-18, F-22 and a few others that I put up on my you tube channel, but I may move them to their own specific YouTube channel eventually. So I will probably do the same this year.

Ok, give us a little bit, it's way at the north end of the field in the war birds section

Been wanting to go to this for a while but I saw the schedule and the weekend doesn’t show any f22’s or f35’s which is what I really want to see, only had them during the week

Speaking F-22, walking back down to the war birds section, an F-22 roared overhead and did it's air show. Then on our way back E/A growlers did an airshow. We will see how well those videos shake out. Bright sun with polarized sunglasses trying to keep up with them roaring overhead...

There is an F-35 at Boeing Plaza.

This is a work of art. One of my top fives. Slightly behind the DC-3/C-47.

Ok, I have never seen that. Not that I actively looked at them for this either. The rear main gear certainly isn't up to spec for slamming down on a deck, so...

If that's the new F-15EX model, i think they are transitioning that to a multi-role aircraft, so navy/marines will be using them.

I don't know much about it, but from what i've heard those are some awesome aircraft, and will probably be in service for decades still. Crazy how productive that F-15 has been.
