Looks like there was not enough reinforcement (rebar) in the concrete. The idiot general and concrete contractor that did this job are going to be hurting after that one.


There will be more than the general and concrete contractors. Don't forget a certified architect and structural engineer are involved in the process as well as the village inspectors, that must inspect before the concrete is placed. Now if this was precast construction then the manufacturer is also at fault. Either way there will be a lot of heads flying.
