The cast is getting torn apart right now...I guess they did an interview with the New York Times and Walter revealed Tambor totally went apeshit on her on set once and Bateman and I think Cross maybe? defended Tambor and there was a huge blowback for them covering for Tambor who is apparently kind of a royal prick to work with. They canceled the UK press tour b/c shit is hot fire right now. They should have never brought this show back

Two episodes deep and it's not horrible. I still think Tony Hale forgot how to play Buster, just like season four. A few good laughs. Solidly better than S4.

Hes been on Veep too long...he basically plays a more grown up Buster on that. I'm guessing thats the character hes channeling rather than OG Buster.

Watched the first 4 episodes. forgot they were only releasing 8 to start. So far its been pretty decent. I mean look. There's just no comparing it to the old school episodes. You can either hate it for trying to find nostalgia that just isnt there anymore, or try to enjoy the humor that does occasionally present itself. There are moments of humor to be found if you're open to them. Tho I am finding this season they're inserting a lot more nods to the old episodes than they did in season 4 if you're paying attention.

This season is in dolby vision tho. But I don't think it's doing any of these actors any justice

This about sums up my take. It’s better than season 4 but not as good as the original 2 seasons but good enough. It’s enjoyable. About what I expected.
