My advanced high-school auto classes and UTI had engine donations from GM, mostly in the form of 3800s.

Some of those look like Series 1 engines.

All the grey valve covered ones are either 3300 or 3800. Most likely 3800.

The black valve covered ones, look like 4.3L V6's (Vortec 4300's), based on valve covers as well as the bell housing pattern.

Mercedes looking canister on left. Edge.
4.3 tbi just behind and to the right of the MB.
A bunch of later intake design LG3/ln3 3800s (no 3800 cast into top like earlier production....cheaper to mold 3800 into the plastic injector cover.
3 early sII 3800s in back right.
Flathead v8 in back right corner.
One 3.5 60° v6
One late model l27 3800.
More 4.3 on right

That right there is impressive. I figured if they were 3800's, you guys would appreciate them.

At college of dupage, we had 10-20 3800/3300 engines we tore down and put back together. All naturally aspirated though.

All those 3800's together in one room and not a single fire extinguisher in sight...
