Silver Sulfadiazine is a wonder cream for sun burn. I keep it in the cupboard for those burn times. It's a burn cream that works great on sunburn. Need a prescription but most doctors will give it. Pain goes away immediately. If it starts hurting again, reapply. We were in on Sunday for about 4 hours. I can’t remember when I was this burnt!
Is that a 27 footer? And done, this bitch is swim ready. Water currently at 68 degrees. Pump has been running about 4hrs. Vacuumed it and skimmed it. Waiting on the PH to stabilize, then shock, algecide treatment and one more quick vacuum.
I’ll be fighting the fucking helicopters from my neighbors tree the next 7-10 days.

I always forget, its either 24 or 27 x 54"Is that a 27 footer?
Why not just buy one of those pop up 4 person ones from Costco, use the pool water to fill , run the hot tub pump lines in the pool to keep it balanced, and then also as a generic pool heater.I want a hot tub. Wife is not as enthusiastic. I had a cortisone shot in my elbow today and would have liked to soak it. Turns out I have a small tear but not enough for Tommy John surgery. Have to go the rehab route.
I blame the dog for jerking my arm when he saw a squirrel. German Shepherd with 4 wheel drive.
Good luck dude as I had that happen to me once in 20yrs, its like fighting a never ending battle. I did the whole SLAM thing multiple times.Ill be honest I am getting EFFING annoyed with this GD pool.... Last year I got mustard algea, eventually after about 2 weeks I killed it....
This year I open the pool, SHOCK THE CRAP out of it (23,000 gallons of water) and I put 10 gallons in it, plus two bags and have no chemical reading on Free chlorine and the mustard algea is back.
So now I am fighting this bitch again, so last night I put 10 bags of shock in, add some PH down because it is showing high (around 8.2), and my myiatic acid is non existent so I put some conditioner in it..... Yet this morning my free chlorine is barely visible... so I put 3 more bags of shock in it....
I am really at a loss on this bitch...
2 different strips from 2 brand new bottles...New strips?
I guess my question is why did it come back... last year it was gone by june.... why the EFFING come back now!Good luck dude as I had that happen to me once in 20yrs, its like fighting a never ending battle. I did the whole SLAM thing multiple times.
After fighting it all year, the following year I drained it in April (before its warm/sunny out). Scrubbed the liner with 50-50 bleach/water mix, rinsed that and drained that. Replaced all my fittings, hoses, basically anything that was in the water. Threw all the old toys and shit away, filled her back up and problem solved.
Nature of the beast bro. It was probably never really gone imoI guess my question is why did it come back... last year it was gone by june.... why the EFFING come back now!
The problem is Cyanuric acid, not Muriatic acid. Cyanuric is what keeps the chlorine in the pool and doesnt let the sun burn it out instantly. What is the strip showing for stabilzer? You could dump 10 gallons of liquid chlorine in the pool and it will get burned out in one day in the sun or heat cranked up without enough stabilzer.Ill be honest I am getting EFFING annoyed with this GD pool.... Correct...(i said the wrong thing)The problem is Cyanuric acid, not Muriatic acid. Cyanuric is what keeps the chlorine in the pool and doesnt let the sun burn it out instantly. Still have to drain the pool to fix that issue, correct? The problem is Cyanuric acid, not Muriatic acid. Cyanuric is what keeps the chlorine in the pool and doesnt let the sun burn it out instantly. Yes, high CA needs draining and refilling, but I think he is having the opposite issue. He is saying he adds chlorine and it dissappears right away. That would indicate low CA.Still have to drain the pool to fix that issue, correct?
When I had issues, I recall reading that high CA levels can only be resolved by adding new water
Agreed…. It’s low ca, I added a decent amount of conditioner so hopefully today it’s better…Yes, high CA needs draining and refilling, but I think he is having the opposite issue. He is saying he adds chlorine and it dissappears right away. That would indicate low CA.
A skimmer basket collects leaves and debris in a pool skimmer. Not sure what you are asking? Do you mean a chlorinator?Should I get a skimmer basket for chlorine in the hot tub? I add like 2 table spoons every day and it shows zero the next day on the strips, I just drained and refilled the CA is none right now? I have a skimmer I tried it once and it was too much but maybe I had it open too far
