Its a documentary using original footage from NASA on 65mm and 70mm thats been restored.

NO CGI here, all real footage of the real astronauts and Saturn V rocket. The launch sequence footage is fucking amazing.

Hoping that they do a re-release in IMAX for the anniversary in 17 days. Haven't heard a thing about it though, so not likely. Saw it on a regular screen and it was literally out of this world, hence the purchase of the blu-ray, which surprised me that it was already available.

Just watched the trailer and some of that footage looked like it was taken yesterday.
The quality is amazing. It must have taken a LOT of work to do that.

No joke, the quality of the video and photos in this movie are stunning. The soundtrack/score was done using instruments that were only available in the 60’s, nothing “modern”. There are no actors, just the actual people that were involved.

just finished up FP2. Not too far out from FP3 now.......but I do think I'm gonna start this up now. I'll catch up with FP3 if I still feel like being conscious after this. I do really wanna watch this.
