There is a "night mode" but doesn't seem to do shit

The October patch is supposed to fix the sensor issues.

Also, I have dark mode on everything except Gmail and the Google app....even tho they rolled out weeks ago.

Good to know. I'll do the upgrade this weekend. Are you rooted? And if so, do you lose root after the upgrade or can I just do a cache wipe and be ok? I'll be using the factory image...not OTA.

It changed my keep notes widget to black background but that's it

Night mode in developers just changed my Google app backgrounds to black. Which is cool

Doesnt appear to be a way to toggle it off. A lot of these apps are following the system settings.

No. It's system wide from what I see.

If the app can toggle, it will be in that apps specific settings. (Google Keep notes has a toggle for light/dark)

2/13 people got the text. I had to retext everyone just about. Messages show sent on my end, but not in recipients message.

Coulda been a spam detection on the carrier side since it was the same message repeatedly.

Or you were in a bad service area.
