I'll try it the next time i'm doing oil changes. High mileage full synthetic 5 qts is only $20.

I will stick to the Mobil 1 5-quart jugs at Walmart for $25.99

Yup. Just like battery manufacturers. There's only a hand full yet hundreds of brands. But the unedumacated only care about brand name

I’m pretty sure I read that Warren also produces Advance Auto’s oil.

So, my wife and I just happened to watch an episode of Adam Ruins Everything (I know, not 100% confirmed info but it does make me think and start researching if I am that interested) and the technology episode talked about how Amazon tries to buy companies selling certain products on their site, and if they refuse, they just make their own and sell it for stupid cheap until they do get the company they want since they are now in a strangle hold and not making any money.

Ipso facto, I wonder what oil company Amazon is trying to buy.

I'll try it. Amazon isn't going to tarnish their branding image by destroying peoples cars.

Looks like a win win situation for my cars and pocketbook.

I'd like to see some independent tests on the oil before even considering using it. For now, I'll stick to reputable brands.

It's got the Dexos Gen 2 certification (at least on the synth), so it should be fairly decent oil (will maintain warranty on new GM vehicles). Waiting for some Bob is the Oil Guy testing though too

Wow, why such a heavy weight oil?

And why not run Rotella if you're looking for high zinc oil, and save yourself a boatload of money

My wrench and a couple other engine friends with more motor knowledge than I suggested the VR1 in the summer for my built, fire breathing shit box.
