Do not buy a battery powered dremel for any serious work. You'll be pissed when you are charging it every 20/30 mins.

Indeed, but if anyone needs one for sculpting popsicle sticks.

I have one and it's actually pretty decent. Battery life is much better than the old ones.

i have 2 battery powered dremels....fucking hate them. i keep saying ill buy a corded one, but never have. lol
A corded one will be life changing. I made the same mistake. The cheapo non-name harbor freight corded "dremel" even puts the battery one to shame. Fucking cut off my EXHAUST with that "dremel".

I have an old corded Dremel brand dremel. Variable speed up to 45,000rpm.

They are great, but not so great for cutting anything big. I use the fiberglass re-inforced cutting discs, but they take a while to get through anything thick. Took forever to cut the hole in my trans tunnel for the shifter. I think two discs too.
