This is all I see on X about the newest episode.

I havent watched a second of it and dont feel like im missing anything? :dunno:

That's just one of the obvious bits of it, there is so much more to the episode, and most of it is in the background details and not what is directly in your face.

But the saber duel, yeah, oh yeah, more of that please. Hayden worked hard on that one, probably as hard as he had to for the prequels. The style was spot on, that WAS Anakin from RoTS. So much better than the saber duels from the sequel trilogy.

I feel Hayden's acting was better in this episode than any of the prequals.

I absolutely love seeing pre-Obi duel Vader. Filoni pulled it off perfectly in Ep 5. The flashes between Suited up Vader and Vadikan was awesome. Props to Hayden for completely changing his delivery between Anakin and Vader.

All of that being said I still think the end duel in Kenobi was slightly better. I am still absolutely jacked that Hayden is back. He has commanded attention every time he's on screen. So cool seeing him in the Clone Wars wearing his armor too. I was hoping Ewan was going to show up in his.

OMG yes. I love this interpretation. I mean it definitely makes the most sense :ROFLMAO:

the thing that sold me was when he pointed out that there were actually NO portals in that WBW. She was never actually there. My brain can accept this.

Holy shit, hearing Lars Mikkelsen bring Thrawn to the live screen is awesome. I always loved how he voiced Thrawn in Rebels.

Also, Shin has more lines in this episode than all the previous episodes combined.

The visuals and music in this episode deliver! This episode so far feels like a ticking countdown to a time bomb.

Once Sabine sets off to find Ezra the episode stalls, the tension that the first part was building fades away. :(

The reunion with Ezra finally happens and the dialogue is close, but not quite the same dynamic they had in Rebels, Sabine isn’t quite as quick to come back with a witty remark, but it has been a long time.

I’m hoping the eventual confrontation between Ezra and Baylan is as epic as the Ahsoka vs Baylan duel was, though I don’t think it can top the Anakin and Ahsoka scenes from ep5.

THIS. The voice. Even if he doesnt QUITE exactly look like the Thrawn of Rebels (i mean it has been a few years :ROFLMAO: ) That voice is all I think about when I think Thrawn. So good.

And he hasn't lost his edge at ALL either

When he said to basically destroy any space whales that show up, jesus he knew right away what Ahsoka would do. THATS Thrawn.

I also thought the Sabine cross country trek was a bit of a shift in the episode, and also yes! When the reunion happens, those Rebels vibes started to kick up again, but yeah it wasnt QUITE there. Don't know what to think of Ezra yet, but he still felt somewhat familiar.

The thing that bothered me the most tho,

When Sabine and Ezra finally meet up. She's very reluctant to tell him how she got there or what was really going on. He even said "It worked! ......right?" And she told him yes. Which was a lie. I didn't like this because if we're really going down the Sabine dark path route, this just cements that even more

HOLY SHIT. Today I read who plays Captain Enoch, thats Thrawn's right hand stormtrooper w/ the gold helmet.

It's none other than motherfucking

Wes Chatham!!! Or, AKA, Amos from the Expanse!!! Oh now I can not wait to see what his character gets up to in this show. I think he is also a brand new character for the star wars universe
