JUST INCASe... how the fuck do you push the pistons in.. i think they are "reset" far enough where it will be okay.. but still..

Ive never done them where the pistons face each other.

I'm picturing 4 bars/rods whatever, 2 per side, and a couple clamps. Dunno. Would hate to scratch the paint on the calipers tho. :dunno:

you can use a wide paint scraper to push in an entire side and hold it there while you drop the pads in.

I do it the old fashion way. Take two huge c-clamps and clamp the old brake pads in at the same time so the caliper pistons compress evenly. Then drop in your new pads and you are good to go. This is how I have always changed them on the evo. It works and you don't have to buy those silly tools.

this is his 3rd current one.. he also has a truck... so 4 vehicles currently "his"


his first car ever was a 6cyl mustang vert....


brakes are done, except for 1 hose... the fitting stripped lol... so 90% done... then just need to bleed.

He had a V6 mustang, sold it.

After that he got a GT, Cobra, then Saleen. He has all three and a truck in Arizona.

It's his fourth mustang, but it's his 3rd mustang that he still owns (if that makes sense).
