I've noticed there isn't really a need to go past 6k rpm. The flat foot shifting allowed by the Cobb is pretty sweet for the 3 times I've tried it. It's difficult to trick my mind into keeping my right foot planted while shifting. Oh, and a set of 17.7 lb 18" Konig Ultraforms are already in transit. :D

I too and uncomfortable with flat foot shifting. Just knowing the possibility keeps me from doing it.

I did do it once or twice, and the kick in the ass from a FFS is pretty awesome though.

not really a need. Turbo actually starts to fall off around 5k though. The green line is the boost chart. Stock its flat until about 5k, then falls off when it can no longer feed the engine above 5k.

Tuned it holds till about 4k, then can't keep up with the increasing demand.

This was a stock dyno of my 2013.

And this is the Cobb 93 OTS Stage 1.

I just got the resonator deleted at Velasquez & Sons for $45 to give me a little more noise without being obnoxious. And I can feel the difference with the new Konig wheels being about 8 lbs lighter than stock. The tune has been great with no issues. I look forward to driving this car on a regular basis. :)

Have you thought about a short shift/shift arm setup? I know the stock shifter isnt HORRIBLE, but its definitely a marked improvement if you upgrade. ESPECIALLY the shifter bushings, they may as well have used chewed up bubble gum.

I loved my breedt arm w/ the boomba shifter bracket bushings. And i didnt even crack open the center console to replace the bushings on the inside. Just look at how much that cable plate flexes w/ the stock bushings.

I doubt they painted where they welded, I would get something to paint over the welds so that doesn't turn into ugly rust.

I haven't yet considered doing anything with the shifter. Like you said, the OEM setup is acceptable to me for the time being as it isn't too bad. I can see doing it in the next year or two, though, to tighten things up as the car ages. Good to have a review from a "local", though! :D
Stock shit is sloppy and long as fuck. I'll let you drive mine and you'll buy the upgrades immediately  I did the bracket and short throw without the bushings and if felt like poo, it was short but sloppy, did the bushings... Feels like a whole new car :bigthumb:
