SOLD!
Up for sale is my ATX 1994 Ford Taurus SHO with 165k miles. If you are unaware, the '89-'95 SHO's came with a Yamaha V6 engine; the manuals with a 3.0 and the automatics with a 3.2. I am the second owner and the car has been nothing but great in my 4 years of ownership. Mechanically the car is fine, just some minor rust peaking though on the quarters. Front and rear bumpers are scuffed up and there is a slight dent on the front of the hood from when my brother backed into my car.
Within the past 6 months I have had these parts replaced:
Radiator
AC compressor
New pads/rotors all around
Rear calipers
Lower mileage trans
Front pass. side wheel bearing
Pass. side CV axle
The car has a few modifications....
Suspension:
Tokico struts
Intrax springs
Aluminum subframe bushings
Rear strut tower brace
MOOG front end links
Ingalls adjustable rear control arms
Brakes:
Gen III upgrade (11.6” rotors)
Exterior:
New headlights
Clear corners
Professionly smoked tail lights
20% tint all around
Will Lewis “Powered By Yamaha” Ford badges
Pilot fog lights
Interior:
Custom Speedhut gauge overlays
Pioneer headunit with iPod hookup
Hard button EATC
Engine:
60k mile service (except rod bearings) performed less then 10k ago
Silicone vacuum lines
Powder coated valve covers
05+ Mustang GT mufflers (low mileage takeoffs)
Optima red top
Remote Start (professionly installed)
For its age, the original paint is in amazing condition and a few members on here can back me up. There are a few minor scratches here and there but no dents except for the hood as I mentioned earlier. The power antenna kept getting stuck so I disconnected it a while back. Car is being sold with Blizzak snow tires. With all the upgraded suspension she handles really well and is fun to throw into the corners. Scorching heat and freshly recharged AC. Minor oil and coolant leak like every SHO. I’m sure I am forgetting a few things so feel free to ask.
SOLD!
