A little history of my car: It's a 92' Galant VR-4. It's has a 4g63 2.0 4cyl,turbo,AWD & 4wheel steering. It shares some parts w/DSM's, but it is a Mitsu made in Japan.
It's a rally car that was produced in limited #'s. There's only 3000 total in the US [2000 91's & 1000 92's] so it's rare. Each car has indiv. number plate on the dash w/a key fob.
The car didn't sell well in the US & Mitsu only sent it over here for 2 year's. {kinda like a Japanese 'Grand National'}

Mine has a ''few'' mods..

Basically, it's the 'grandfather' of the EVO 8's/9's roaming the streets these days!

Here's a few pics of my ''4Door''...

Nice. My friend has a white 91 vr4. It's fairly modded but it runs like a typical Mitsubishi :rofl:

I owned a 94 galant S for my first car, with a bad ass 4g64 in it. That power steering pump screamed like banshee. It was reliable as all hell for what I put it through in the two years I owned it.

I like the car.

''are those pics from when one six first opened up at their old place?''..
It's from last Sat. @ the FIZZ BBQ

didn't they have evo's in 92, also?
Yeah, the EVO I's[Lancer's] were chosen/made to replace the Galant due to it being lighter. Galant's weigh 3400#'s.

Mitsu missed the boat in not bringing the early EVO's to the US IMO. They did the 'DSM' merger w/Dodge hence the Laser/Eclipse/Talon trio. Also the Stealth/3000GT & Conquest/Starion cars.

Actually the Starion/Conquest[which BTW had a 4g63 in it in Japan] was one of the first Mitsu factory supported 'RalliArt' efforts, then the Galant, then the EVO 1,2,3,4,5...etc, etc,...Thats why the 4g63 is so 'over' engeneered & take's mods so well.

''its clean but is it fast?''
:dunno: Well, that's a subjective question. It's not a 'drag' car, It's a pump gas car that I can put my kids in.. :)

Is it fast? compared to some of my friends... 900+HP EVO's II's, 400-600HP street DSM's & EVO8's... then no it's not fast...

But, lets just say it does ok for what it is & can hold it's own.. w/most or whatever I roll up on the street.
