Those 100$ bill deep?

1/2" shy, lol.
I really wanted to go with a 8" lip on the rear. But iirc it was another $1700 just for 2 rear rims and suspension would have ran at least another $1500. Not worth the money imo.

I understand they are not everyone's cup of tea. But I grew up on G Bodies lifted with rims. Its what I like, it wont be obnoxious, it will be clean and simple when done.

My Cutlass only had 400-450 and would lift the front on one side...steering me all over the place. The rails on the frame are not boxed in.

If it’s anything like the a-body (which it looks like it is) the body is integral to strength. Sure boxed would be better but plenty of people going 8-9’s on bone stock frame and stock style suspension in the Buick 455 world.

Finally found a mint set of 84-87 tails. Pretty sure I’m going to spend the $200 and convert to fully sequential LED. Also picked up necessary parts to covert speedometer cluster to the 84-87. Now when the money allows I can buy the digital dash that I want. Had overtime last week and this Thursday night. Might put me close to being able to buy the dash.

Cool, interested in before and after pictures of that. I'd have guessed tubs of some sort.
They call it a mini tub. If I have time, I will throw the wheels on at home and snap a couple of pics. I cant drive with them on at all until suspension is done. They will rub in the rear and in the front when I turn.

Ordered the LED tails. I have to open up stock housings, add LED boards and wire everything up. Should be a fun little project.
Also picked up some LED headlights. I'm up in the air on these. If I dont like them, I will sell and take a small hit on them. Stock headlights on the G Bodies are horrible. Scored this instrument carrier for free, just had to pay shipping. I have been searching high and low for this fucker for a month. Its needed to do the 84-87 digital dash.

Paint is FINALLY done. Well 90% done, still needs to be wet sanded and buffed. Doesnt look bad, actually looks pretty good for a $1500 job done out of someone's garage. Guy that painted doesnt wet sand and buff. He has a guy that will do it for $150. Drove the car right from paint to the suspension shop. They say "about 2 weeks". I'm sure that means a month.

Forgot to mention, last week I drove out to Kenosha/Racine area. Found a guy selling a BNIB JL Audio 600/4 amp for $300. They retail for like $700-$800. Today I found a guy from Gurnee on Ebay selling the matching JL Audio 1200/1 amp for $600. Sent him message on Ebay with my phone number. Talked him down to $400 and it retails for $1100-$1200. Its used (less than a year old supposedly) but doesnt have a scratch on it and looks new. I have the same amp in my Tahoe but its a 750/1. So when I met the guy I hooked it up to my Tahoe just to confirm it works, and it does. I have 4) Kicker DS 6x9's laying around in my garage and I believe I have a couple 6.5's or 5.5's in the garage as well. Will throw the 6x9's in rear deck and the 6.5 or 5.5 up in the doors. Need to find a sub or subs. Not sure if I wanna do 3) 12" L7's, 2) 15" L7's or just do 1 single sub, JL 13.5 W7 or a Skar ZVX-15v2 D1.
