I want this car, unfortunately it'll probably be sold by the time I get back to work. It's daturbosix listing.

2004 Grand Prix GTP SUPERCHARGED

Since my ST was totaled I need another DD. This kind of fits what I'm looking for size, power, and economy wise.

So what are the general issues? I know 3800's had head gasket issues and sometimes trans issues. Anything else?

I don't think head gaskets are a common issue.

Rust
Lower intake gaskets
Valve cover gaskets
Rust
Trans (hit or miss)

Lower intake gaskets were the issue, not head gaskets.

Sorry, you're right. I meant intake gasket. Been a common problem through most of the gens.

The market is flooded right now. Any other time I would have sold my Prelude in less than a week, and it was up for almost a month without one single person interested. There's over 300 grand prix's for sale right now in the Chicago area.

I love mine. 187k and I just did a ZZP PCM, and about to do the cat less down pipe. I bought mine from Unitek and I don't think he had any Trans work done, all I did was the solenoids.

And the car gets beat on regularly. Brakes are about the only thing I religiously go through. And tstat but that cause I never property flushed the system. I did change the blower oil when I got it. Should be done every 50k

Mine were changed 3 times. The new covers they put on when I brought it in for the last recall are solid black!

I'm happy!!

Deng... Bout to be sitting on that for a while. IDK if you saw, but there's 340 grand prix's for sale in the area right now. If you want to stand out, you need a lower price.
