Your MPG at 80-85 empty is what I get with my 07 NNBS 5.3 LY5 with 4spd doing 70-72 if DoD doesn’t kick in, which it rarely does over 70.

Question, if you’ve recorded it, what does it average empty doing 70-75?

I’ve often said my car goes before I get rid of my truck. The car barely gets 23mpg at 75. Going back to a single vehicle (truck) that hits close to that would be huge selling point. Wonder what the 5.3 does for highway mileage... not sure I’d need the 6.2, but bragging rights...

the best "last 50 mpg avg" ive gotten was running 70-75 to the dells one saturday morning- and i got 24, of course 100% not the norm, and some hero mileage shit, but around 70 in not extreme conditions, unloaded, id expect at least 21 or so.

22"s sack up homie. Summer wheels on street tires

i dont think so bub.

So I got my sweet new dragy from tcg. And I'm going to waste a lot of gas with it I've decided.

Absolute hero DA but spinning like an absolute MOTHER FUCKER in auto 4wd, first out the hole then on the 1/2 shift and 2/3 shift. It's neat that it shows the 60 ft so you can see just how slow you are out the hole

This is just absolute mash the gas to the floor and hope. I tried to gas/brake but the truck stops all fun... Let's you only Rev to 1500rpm, regardless of how hard you mash the gas, then when you release the brake, the truck barely feathers into the throttle.

I'm excited to tinker with this further... Get the random tools, shingles, other building materials, etc and try to dip into the 13s being able to hook.

You guys remember putting a pulley and cone filter on your w-body and being all :fy: with a 13.9?

new trucks are silly that they’re just casually 2-3 seconds faster than they used to be.

that's really something i was thinking about. dudes back in the day with stock gtp's trying to run mid 14's and being pumped about running high 13's after a downpipe/pulley/tune etc.

truck able to pull nearly 13k lbs, get over 20mpg on the hwy and run 14.0s bone stock is just awesome.

No emissions for you? Get an off road y pipe, jlt intake and tune, dis bitch will be a 12 second truck

we do have emissions where im at.

well. i haven't recently owned a car long enough in this state to have to go but im 90% sure i do.

im also not going to lie, i am slightly concerned/cautious about keeping the warranty.

especially since this 6.2 in this truck is so different than the previous years.
