4l80e rebuild sloppy style

After completely burning up the clutches I decided to give rebuilding it a try! I have nothing more than basic hand tools and a pair of ramps. No garage either! After watching many great videos on YouTube and having the trans in and out 3 times , it works!!! I guess what I'm saying is that you shouldn't be afraid to give it a shot. I think I got most of the pine needles out. Haha here are a few highlight pics. -tom

What book/DIY did you follow to rebuild it? I have an 80E that's disassembled with TORCHED clutches and full of clutch material that I want to rebuild.

I've watched most of this video probably 10 times! Lots of great info in In there. Sometimes I even had my phone on the bench and referring to the video as I went. I really like the dual camera angles in this video as well...
