4l80e input shaft

anybody here with boosted LQ4 swap upgrade their stock 4l80e input shaft? i read that it's very beefy and hold up to 1000+ hp not that mine going to make that much power lol. also read they do break under 750 hp. just trying to decide if i should upgrade to be on safer side.

I think unless you have a really large stall, with even larger power, the input should be fine. I also know it's not the weakest part in the trans. I've got one in a supercharged G-body. I was told the trans would be more that fine stock.

I have a jakes stage 5 that has a billet input shaft. The stock one will probably hold up to 750hp but I like to overbuild everything. I think more than anything it's a matter of how much torque you make and how hard it hits. My car makes 920wtq and spools quick. My 60e would chew up clutch packs like a fat kid on cake.
