I have a chance to pick up a built texas speed forged 408 LQ9 full long block for chump change 2g's with a swap of my ls2. The motor 408 right now makes 700whp on boost on motor makes somewhere in the 500's. It weighs about 80lbs more than the ls2. but damn god damn

why would he have to edit his post? nowhere does he mention his car having a turbo kit..it says the motor (not his) as it sits produces those numbers, meaning its already boosted

the motor is 8grand silent douche, unless you have a Ls2 to trade this guy you wont get it for 2g

Not a bad trade IMO. That would leave you without a stock engine if you did want to trade the car in later on. Then again, you said its almost paid for so just keep it and get another car.

yea, i knew it was the iron block setup...just wasnt sure if it was used in anything else...figured it was a truck motor
