The idea of a 4 door stang doesn't hold much surprise for me. I could see trying to replicate the successes of the Charger and all not to mention they have the variance in power trains to make magic happen now so it's not a colossal hit in MPG. What DOES surprise me is the power plant, I would consider that more speculation than the idea of a four door.

I bet its biggest competition is going to be the Kia Stinger GT.

Speaking of that, whatever happened to the stinger? That car was such a big deal but the dealers treated it like it was unattainable and hence didn’t sell many. Now you don’t even hear about them at all

I think the bubble burst. Dealers treated them like unobtanium marked them up.

Sales fell through the floor, and now you can pick up brand new ones under MSRP without issue all day long it seems.

I found several brand new GT2's that MSRP for 52k under 45k within 2 minutes of searching.
