I am thinking about adding one to my stock 09 Mustang GT with auto trans. I am shooting for the 450rwhp level. I was thinking of Procharger or Department of Boost kit but am interested in what others have used/tried?

I would love the sound of a turbo kit but heard they are labor intensive to install.
Thanks

Turbo is definitely harder to install but by far more efficient and will make more power. However, Procharger or equivalent would make very good power and be super reliable.

I did a Turbo on my 3v and it was a pain to install. Long story short I trashed the engine (unrelated to the turbo) before I could get it dialed in, so no results to speak of.

From what I've seen successful in the 3v world, I'd go with a centri blower. The Paxton and Procharger kits seem to be the best. I've never really been a huge fan of the DOB kits as theyre rather expensive for what you get. It only makes sense if you happen to have a GT500 blower that you got for stupid cheap or free.
