Only issues I’ve found people talk about it a warped bed out of the box and incorrectly setting it up causing it to ram the bed. Man I really want to buy it and the glass bed for it so I can do PETG

I've had no issues with mine at all. It printed awesome out of the box. I just recently set up the glass bed(I bought their glass bed that has the coating), and have done a few prints. I had to do a little tweaking to get the first layer to adhere properly, but after that it was good.

I'm going to be adding the auto bed-leveling sensor soon. That should make the glass bed even more fool proof to run.

Since we're on the topic - I've been learning Fusion 360 and wanted to print some functional stuff I designed. So I'm building a model rocket out of a paper towel tube. The Charmin Express

Nosecone is printed:

The fins/motor mount section is an 8 hour print, so I'm going to start that in the morning.

This quarantine crap isn’t good for my wallet. Digging that ender.

All these cheap-ish hobby toys I want but don’t need are knocking at my door

This one also gets glowing reviews. I’m going to hold off for a bit and do more research.

Ender 3 pro. Was $180 at micro center. Once I get it dialed in I’ll be printing some hinges and risers for an enclosure then it’ll be migrating to my desk.

Why'd you do the masking tape?
Has a low spot and was a recommendation on the line. Actually, blue painters tape was the suggestion but I only have frog tape. It didn’t pan out that way but ended up putting some under the magnetic bed and it evened things out well.
