Yeah they use cut to length oring material so sealer only at the joint.

It's a good idea after all the stg2 it's I've had to reseal from pcv/vac/boost leaks.

Wow, if I had 3K and an adventure in my mind I'd be there. Those are getting $$$ now even beat.

ED:Actually, I'm looking at that. Is it a GN or is it a WE4? It has "T" wheels and it doesn't have badges. Also, not sure on the seat that's in it. I'd much rather have a WE4 than a GN honestly.

It's an '85 GN from what I'm seeing. In the pic of the fans (wtf) you can see the hot air up-pipe and plastic MAF snorkel. Those wheels have the insides painted black which makes them '84-'85 GN wheels.

I'd still take a hot air car for $3k. even one in that shape if I had the garage space. It has an 8.5 and a BRF 200R4 I believe and I'd have little trouble doing dirty things to it from a moral standpoint just because it's rough.

Considering what I'd do to it the basket case condition probably wouldn't matter much, but man there are a lot of red flags in that listing. I'm glad it's not closer.
