It's funny that they call it the high "mang"

I learned last year that they call these engines "mang mangs" because of they way they sound when they hit the limiter

I'd love to have one of those but that's over twice what I'd want to pay for a good intake

Yep. I learned from an Australian that "mang" is actually shortened from "moo mang" which is even better IMO

I agree. Super cool if you're going for 3800 world records, but that's about it.

-Hides hi-mang in their trailer's spare bedroom
-Blows a transmission because 3.4 pulley, stock everything else, and takeovers
-Talks mad shit about 3800s being weak even though it's still running fine
-Scraps car
-Posts hi-mang on marketplace for $8000
-Get's laughed at
-Disappears for 5+ years
-Hi-mang secretly gets sold to a 3800 hoarder for pennies and never gets installed in a car

I used to have dreams of installing one of those on my red block because I wanted it to be "all volvo". I don't think it would ever spool even with a ported 16V head. lol

For the love of god take blower off so this straight into engine and use the SC intercooler with E85. short plumbing and call it a day.
