It did not go w/o a hitch. Some of the paint was pulled off on the bumper cover.
I did a quick touch up job.
This and the mysterious dash rattle will end up being good reasons to get an SRT Superstock.[emoji12]

Thanks! Yes, I used the brush and also the clear coat included. It looks pretty good from 150ft away. [emoji1787]

Yes, I paid close attention to that edge too. Maybe it had something to do with the plastic bumper. There was no issue with the metal areas.

I’m glad it wasn’t worse. I’m hoping that the touch up paint makes it thru the buffing process.

The good news it that it isn't a really obvious spot. Rock chips will happen at some point and will disguise that some.

My car left similar style marks (not as bad) when I removed the stripes. Had to use my professional shit to blend them out.

As far as the stripe paint peel. I bet the bumper was just a tad too hot. I burned my rear bumper with my buffer by holding for just a bit too long. Plastic underneath doesn’t help.

I’ll get it done again by a pro that can spend some quality time on it.
I agree with your paint peel bet.
All in all.... it still looks pretty bad azz. I’m cool with driving it through the summer and addressing paint, suspension and performance shortcomings this winter.
