This is a fully configured ready to go Plex Media Server. All it requires is 1 Network cable, and 1 power cable. The system runs headless without a monitor. Its also silent and makes no noise when running.

Connect to the file shares and put your Music, Movies, Pictures...etc into the folders with the correct naming schemes and Plex will automatically fill out all the Synopsis, Poster Art, Cast & Crew metadata for you.

With some small configuration on your part this can also stream to your devices over the internet, so you can watch your movies anywhere in the world.

This server is capable of transcoding all 1080P content into any format on the fly, and can direct stream 4K files. It supports pass-thru of DTS-HD, Dolby Atmos, TrueHD and other lossless codecs to a receiver. So you can have full Bluray quality without having to swap discs. You can start watching a movie on your home theater, and then pick-up the movie on your phone. Multiple people can watch media at the same time.

Not going to do the ECC vs non-ECC debate here, You can visit the 100+ page thread on the FreeNAS forums. If you aren't going to buy it, please step out.

The server is stable, and reliable. I've run the CPU and Mobo combo for years with various drives and never had corruption or data loss. I've never even had a drive failure. I only moved away from the 4TB drives because I doubled my capacity with 8TB drives and do not need the 20TB array.

I wouldn't offer it up for sale if I honestly thought people would lose their data.
