I go out and goose it all the time with small blasts from lights and low rolls playing around. I dont go out and do quarter mile redline runs on the street that often. Its LOUD, dangerous and illegal.

Taking this new Z06 out and standing on it to 8400rpm is not something you are going to do that often. Doing the small quick pulls or off light blasts to the speed limit is going to be much more common.
Different approaches to a problem. In this case, torque doesn’t matter. Your car makes a lot more TQ to the wheels and you’d need binoculars to look at dem Z06 tail lights.

My GTA has 3.23's with the T56 and it absolutely NEEDS gears. Like 3.90's or 4.10's to make the low speed bearable. 2nd takes me to 80, 3rd to almost 130mph.

But the C8Z doesn't have this issue, even with the 5.56:1 rear because of that 8 speed transmission. I bet GM even programmed it to skip shifts sometimes at low throttle levels with as close as its gears probably are.
My buddy did a t56 swap in his 10 it was the same way. Thinking he had an early box with even numerically lower ratios.
