The blue w black trim is less bad. Bmw is actually late to the game of combining the grille and lower air intake as a single price, they're just doing it w two shapes instead of one like audis been doing. It's a shame because they're just following a trend now.

Seems like those other manufacturers make the crash bar a helluva lot less intrusive visually as well, no?

These look like absolute shit IMO. Agreed about it being sad how they're followers now; at least the Bangle era and flame surfacing was original... come to think of it, those cars didn't age too badly considering the uproar when they debuted...

Speaking of Crash bar thats also part of the GT500 bumper I cant stand. Well besides the OLD headlights....... Why the fuck is the part over the crash bar black? The earlier pics of the GT500 the bumper looks eleventybillion times better with that section color matched like the body.

BMWs take here is just a complete abortion.

Somebody in the BMW design team was drunk and seeing double when they saw an Alfa Romeo and heard everyone saying how good it looked. One large grill like the Alfa works, two is a bit much. But might become more accepted over time. No matter what though, having a license plate in the middle there makes it even worse.
