I mean that's the cool part about it. Going to the Olympics is most athletes end goal right? Representing the US and trying to be the best in the world.

Watching it is pretty boring but my biggest beef is the amount of waste after the Olympics are done. Venues the size of cites are built only to most likely be never used again and left abandoned.

Haven't watched a minute of the Olympics, other than it being on a TV in a restaurant the other day. Kind of sad, it used to bring the country together. Stopped watching ESPN a few years ago and stopped watching sports in general a year or so ago. Don't really miss any of it.

I'm pretty sure all the "American" athletes who said they would do that didn't medal in any event. None of them should have even made it to Tokyo. They all should have been banned from competing.
