I think it's the line of the rear fender that makes the widebody look great on the challenger, but out of place on the charger

Again..total elbows too pointy post...I love these cars

Chevy needs to find away to hire away a few key people on the Dodge design and marketing team....

And that is chevy's problem. They have an awesome platform in the 6th gen camaro. The car does everything well. Its just so poorly marketed, then discounted to the basement, they are killing it themselves.

But also agree that the charger rides and handles better than the challenger.

It also sucks to live with. No arguments that it'll outperform anything else in it's price range, but it seems like people are choosing the Mustang and Challenger because they are better cars; people can actually see out of them, drive around in them with luggage and people. Not saying the Camaro can't do those things, just that the Challenger and Mustang do it so much better.

Also there is a sedan based on the 6th gen Camaro, it's called the ATS, and no one wants to buy it. Same with the CTS...is it because they are too much money? Are they not marketed well enough? Does Cadillac still have a waft of old man? Or are people just not really buying sedans like they used to?

Under the new Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody's fender flares reside wider wheels and tires than you'd find on a narrow-body four-door Hellcat. Those really improve the Charger Hellcat's handling capability, says Dodge, and where better to test that America's greatest hillclimb? That's right, the new Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody will run at Pikes Peak just days after it made its debut.

A mostly stock Charger Hellcat will run in the open Exhibition class this weekend at the famous Colorado mountain. Dodge and Michigan race team Wesley Motorsports—which paired up last year to run a Challenger Hellcat in the Pikes Peak Time Attack 1 class—fit this Charger with custom Bilstien shocks, upgraded Pagid brake pads and high-temperature fluid, and DOT-legal Toyo competition tires. To ensure safety, they also fit an FIA-spec roll cage, bucket seat and fuel cell, and to make sure the 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 works at high altitude, a new exhaust and an engine remap.

This. I could drive the Challenger to work every day and not hate myself, take it on a long road trip with a cool and bags in the trunk and also take it to GLD and have a blast. My 5th gen used to go that, the 6th gen is too tight and even worse to see out of. That's why GM needs a couple Mopar designers. They have the right engineers.
