This was the flagship boat in 1977 for the Cobalt Lineup. Has all of the upgrade options in 1977 including the most expensive 460 Cubic Inch Jet Drive motor. Run in shallow waters and use the hydraulic adjustable jet to set the trim and rooster tail for water skiing, tubing, or just fast cruising.

Beautiful boat with every option Cobalt offered. Has brand new carburetor new Holley Electric Fuel Pump, fuel lines, new fuel filter/water separator, tank cleaned and camera scoped, new bilge pump, Teak completed with 4 coats for trim and swim platform. Cobalt is a solid built boat that is a show stopping head turner. Strong runner with 135 hours on the hour meter.

Ford 460CI 320hp motor with Jacuzzi Jet Drive. Bow Light, VHF radio, AMFM Stereo Radio, Electric Front Windshield, Teak Swim Platform, Teak wood on the bow, side rails, Interior trim panels, etc, Holley Electric Fuel Pump, 50 gallon Tank, Stainless Steel cleats, ladders, windshield, etc. throughout the boat. All the best went into this Cobalt Boat. Best for a day user or a future collectible.

I don't know if you need the white bell bottoms today, southern hoop skirts, hot air balloons, or even a pet jaguar when you go boating, but you can see what was in vogue in 1977, I guess. Check out the 1977 brochure below.

That thing has to rip...

Thought for a min.. Replace PQ? IDK that thing would like the water depth better but I would be giving up slow of space and ride quality.

because i dont know shit about them, i'd be nervous about parts for the jet... also, that older jet, how would it do with sucking up mud/muck/rocks/sea weed.

jet outboard or mud motor for your sitch and never worry about water levels again

talked to a guy at hallings with a 35hp mud motor setup on a flat bottom boat who said when chain is low and he is in 3-4" of water in places, he goes faster because the motor is just pushing off the mud, not the water.

I thought about the same thing... Who would work on it?

Its either I suck up mud and blow impellers or a suck up mud and blow a jet pump? IDK.

I only replaced the impeller once since 2014 and not sure how old it was when I replaced it. Maybe the PQ is OK in the muck. Just hates life fully loaded pulling out of the bay. Power off lift and kick up mud the whole way. Machanic just said I need to send it for a bit right after to "clean it out"
