Yeah, I'm curious to see what the rest of the numbers come out with (HP, torque, towing, performance) before I really want to start blasting it. I do love the idea of a turbo 4 full size for some reason...

A significantly lighter weight for the truck; Chevy tell us that the 2019 Silverado with the 2.7L Turbo L3B weighs 380 pounds less than the outgoing Silverado with the 4.3L V6 LV3 EcoTec3 motor. Notably, the L3B also makes 25 horsepower and 43 pound-feet more than the LV3, which is still offered on the 2019 Silverado as the base engine.

Im super excited about this motor, all of it makes sense, except the mpgs....

The thought of a factory backed tune to make more power is enticing as well.... Lots of great points in this thread.

Didn't see it posted but the Turbo 4 got EPA numbers of 20/23 & only on the 2wd version so expect 4WD to be lower naturally.

The 3.3 and the 2.7EB are identical at 19/25 for 2WD

290/265 HP/TQ for the 3.3

but you can't get the Turbo 4 in the lower level trucks. The WT's and the like still get 4.3's where the base engine in the LT's & similar get the 4cyl.

I just saw the ‘19 in person for the first time and let me tell you, it’s ugly as fuck. The whale shaped line going from the front fender to the door is awful, and the LED’s look like a tiny letter “C” In each light. At most it’s like 5” of led lighting per side

Someone at work had one. They are hands down the ugliest pile of shit GM has ever released with the Aztec a close second.

The higher trim models look really good imo.
