I've driven a 5.7 with the Mopar exhaust, and it's mellow enough to come from the factory but loud enough at WOT and has a nice burble around town. I think I recall the Mopar rep I was driving with said Borla makes it.

thats good to know its by borla, as mopar charges an extra 1100 for their cat back. 1700 dollars is wacko.

they have a ram air style CAI though that is 970 bucks, but looks awesome. not on their web site yet though :(

believe it or not, this 2019 is far better than my 2017. a lot of changes in a short time, its a great truck and looks killer!

Its a case of GM standing idle and thinking their product is good enough.

Need more proof? On another note I sure see a shitload of new Expeditions and Navigators now too.

The latest generation Expedition/Navigator Id argue is better than what GM offers in the Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade trio aswell.

What kind of changes did you see or notice between the years?

And does the ram still have a knob for the shifter?

The ride is 10 times smoother riding, and 100 times quieter. they’ve moved usb/power outlets and cup holders to where they need to be( added more essentially). Removed box from under rear seat, now flat bottom floor.
They say there is an actual 6” increase in leg room for rear seat too. Not that it needed any, nor can I actually confirm this but it’s got stupid room back there. The ram boxes are improved, and includes a 110v outlet on drivers side. Sunglass holder now too.

Yes the gear selector is still knob, but the trailer and traction control have been given mustang type buttons instead of push buttons.

It’s a lot of small improvements, but they were all the right improvements in my opinion.

Nice.

I did the Magnaflow direct fit muffler, sounds great with no drone and it's under $400 bucks.

And the Vararam intake is the shit on these trucks.

.

I was actually thinking going same route with exhaust. just doing a muffler, just want to make sure i get enough sound out the back without the drone
