I was advised against E rated for this midsized truck, my buddy who helped me pick has E tires on his truck but he runs a plow and salt in the winter and the truck is huge.

E rated tires are for dump trucks, good choice skipping those.

I don't think you should rub at all with offset change so that's good. ?

Yeah I saw where you posted rubbing in one of my other posts, but I think that was due to offset of the wheels you were running.

My calcs are that these KMC push the wheels out maybe .7-.8

A mix of things, looks played into it too.

I have been on the Sand Dunes with it and will again. Also might do some offroad but not something that will scratch the paint on the truck.

I can't recall many other vehicles that have this much second guessing of the owner's choices on trim level, tow capacity, tire selection, sexual preference...

I don't mind. My selection process was tricky, had to navigate these parameters:

• My 17 year old could drive
• Easy to find parking spaces
• Tow 5,000 lbs
• Cool factor

I would have considered a very nice AWD TBSS but none came up and they are on the old side now. I kicked around a diesel Toureag but felt like a money pit.

You were definitely limited with living where you do on the size aspect. But you're used to handling small things

I was curious when you mentioned towing why you went zr2. You give up a descent amount of capability to be cool!

Which generation? Or both? I know the old gen, had issues.... I thought new kind was better.
