They were running like mid 14's with slicks, and all of those bolt ons when they put them on Voyteks car, and gutted the shit out of it.

If you read closer on the page the "**" in there goes to the bottom..

I talked to Voytek about a year ago to float the idea of putting the TRs power plant in the dragwhores light as hell chassis...he was putting together a mild set up for it

I put down 266whp on a mustang dyno with a stock pulley and 89 octane. That was with a xpz can, ported heads, stock exhaust manifolds l26 bottom end. I'm guessing it would have ran 13.6ish like that with some sticky tires. I think it could have been close to 12.9 with better fuel and a bunch of tuning.

That would be like someone running modded 1.9's and saying they're stock rockers, a STOCK 3.4 pulley from a cobalt, etc. Doesn't count. Stock pulley with bolt-ons.

what about a stock pulley with a bolt on novi 2000 does that count?

Once Als 04 is in my hands I plan on building a really high compression gt1 cam'd NA motor with used Mls headgaskets with the middle 3 shims tossed out......otherwise I'd probably go ahead and toss together a stock pulley monster

I think I got real close to a 12.99 with a 3.4 with the white car a couple years ago.

If I can get with him this week I may load up the summer tune. Although on street tires but there a dyno day next Sunday I may attend to see what she does.

L26 shorty, the major oil/windage mods. stock cam from a 97/98

Na 2* retard timing set or better a RM single with 2-4* able to be scoped out...

SC heads, qwik ported, 90's, MLS gasket with at least 2 shims pulled for .020 quench.

cleanup topend, gen5, "well worn-300k" stock sc pulley, N*, 1 5/8ths headers

run stock inj at the limit and run it lean and hard.

i bet you could squeak out nearly 280/300 at the crank at a fairly low rpm with the tq curve

i would probably mill the heads and run the shorter gaskets, and some e85 try to get 10.5:1 compression out of it

i didnt see anybody say the motor had to be stock like it came from the factory, i only saw whats the fastest stock pulley bolt on car, to me that says no cam and stock pulley the rest is fair game lol

I was thinking along the lines of the "factory stock" and "superstock" class rules....looks oem...not stock... factory parts that may be modified in certain ways, or from other models.
