I recently installed a CAI/tune package on my wife's '11 Mustang V6 and decided to take it to the dyno to see what kind of numbers it put down.

The info on the car:

'11 Mustang V6 coupe
6 speed manual
2.73 gears
2,300 miles on the car


Mods:

C&L CAI
American Muscle/Bama Tuning 93 octane performance tune
Flowmaster 'Force II' axleback

SAE numbers:
261.60 RWHP
255.10 RWTQ

not that impressive...especially when a z06 can hit 10s, a new 911 can run something like 10.9 or a tune only gtr can hit mid 10s.

i still love the zr1 tho.

That v6 mustang is impressive. Don't forget that the car probably only puts down 250ft/tq to the wheels on an NA v6. v8 do have the luxury of an additional 100ft/tq over most NA v6's.
