I wanted a GT500 so bad when I looking for cars and ended up with the TA. That was before I found out most dealers tacked on 20% over MSRP just cuz they wanted to. :squint: Nothing like a $65k Pony... :rolleyes:

As much as I love Mustangs, I could never pay that much money for one. I'm sure the '10 is built for punishment too. That's not even with a pulley swap and a tune. Those cars can easily be into the 10's with just that.

I'd like to see how you came to that conclusion good sir. Is it because I'm running mid-12's in a low 12's car?

Actually, one could argue the opposite of our driving, here is the support to my conclusion:

Me: Currently Running (12.61) minus Should be running (12.30) = .31

Dan: Currently Running (11.84) minus Should be running (10.80) = 1.04

I'm closer to what my car should be running, therefore I drive an automatic better than you drive a manual. ;)

Even the "previous" GT500 dipped. I've run a few of them in the last couple weeks. They're easy to get power out of, but they're slow in the 1/4 for how much power they make.

Nice ride.

However, gay or not some think. I would take a car that can handle an easy 800 RWHP from the factory with a good tune.

Solid Rear 8.8 + TR6060 + 5.4L 4V V8 = The bomb.

If they are making that much power stock, they should be running 11's.

The old GT500's were able to run low 12's bone stock and trap an average of 112-115, with a high of 118.

I wish I had the dough for one of these 2010's.

i definitely saw an 09 gt500 running mid 11's spinning the wheels through 1st, 2nd and chirping 3rd. fucker was loud.
