Pro Stock John i agree it’s worth more with the mods to me it saves a lot of money modding the car but it has to be the right buyer and there is a limit to that.

Bone stock I went 13.15@106, and in current trim it's been 10.90@125. People appreciate the performance but I know it's harder to finance a car this old.

Vette buyers are the absolute worst. After my last Vette it will be the last for along time. Those Mf’s want to know how many trophies you won, if the new balance shoes come with the Vette, what mothers and meguires products were applied to the paint and how many times also what battery tender brand you used. When I sold my C5 with the blower on it...it was a nightmare.

The C6 was easy because the right buyer was lined up.

The second C5 was also a problem due to the cam and stall.

It can be a royal pain in the ass

A better price will attract a buyer who wants a fast modded car. If the car is 4 sale then he wants it gone no such thing if it doesn’t sell cause next year it’s prob worth less.

A buddy sold a similar one for $17K he admits he just wanted to move it, it also had over 100K miles. I think if I dropped it to $17-18K it would move pretty quick. I have told a few folks I would take $19K.
