I'm flex on price if the right person comes along who is a bit handy we can negotiate around the fix-it items... Or I'll keep fixing 'em.

Bone stock I went 13.15@106, and in current trim it's been 10.90@125. People appreciate the performance but I know it's harder to finance a car this old.
I wonder how that logic would fly with my Vette.

Probably not well...lol

NO TIRE KICKERS I KNOW WHAT I'VE GOT
Vette buyers are the absolute worst. After my last Vette it will be the last for along time. Those Mf’s want to know how many trophies you won, if the new balance shoes come with the Vette, what mothers and meguires products were applied to the paint and how many times also what battery tender brand you used. Fuck all that

When I sold my C5 with the blower on it...it was a nightmare.

The C6 was easy because the right buyer was lined up.

The second C5 was also a problem due to the cam and stall.

It can be a royal pain in the ass

It’s been at 20k and hasn’t moved in the middle of summer. He will blink and it will be fall- winter and be worth less and attract less buyers.
OK

On the flip side it doesn’t seem like he’s in a rush. I know you’re the hot shit used car salesman but private sellers don’t have commission and bonuses to hit. If it doesn’t sell then it doesn’t sell :dunno:

An auto vette probably sucks so bad to sell in general. Top that with most vette people just putting chrome accents on their cars and I can see that being really tough

A better price will attract a buyer who wants a fast modded car. If the car is 4 sale then he wants it gone no such thing if it doesn’t sell cause next year it’s prob worth less.

A buddy sold a similar one for $17K he admits he just wanted to move it, it also had over 100K miles. I think if I dropped it to $17-18K it would move pretty quick. I have told a few folks I would take $19K.

Thinking you're going to fall into that 17 to 19k range.

Higher end if you locate the perfect ass for that seat.

You’re not finding another 5th gen with the mileage for $20k, or at least I can’t.

Fix the few things it needs and list it on BAT. Those dudes would love a stripper SS
I tried pretty hard to find one locally with a clean carfax and similar miles.

aint out there

also, Pro Stock John Pro Stock John's is still a better deal and I'd prefer buying one from it's private owner over one from a dealer that's had two previous owners.

$18444, 7.5% tax, 1200? shipping = 21k ish.

psj's tax wise is $100 private party in IL
All I did was find one rather easily.

If this car is a banger deal...why can't he sell it already?

Too often car people have very narrow vision.

you found a clapped out one 1200 miles away.

he can't sell it cuz his listing is horseshit and he's likely only posted it here, FB and maybe some other forum with shit pics and a shit description.

How do you know it's clapped out?

Wonder if this one has the same issues John's does? Probably not I'm guessing.
